How to Reach

The distance from Kolkata to Bangriposi is around 220 kms. There are many ways to reach this offbeat Odisha. 

You can reach by car via NH16 and NH49. It would take around 5 hours. 

If you want to go Bangriposi by train, Balasore is the ideal station.

There are lots of available trains for Howrah (and/or Sealdah) to reach Balasore

From Balasore, the distance of Bangriposi is around 92 kms. So it would take 2 hours by car. The best option is car. 

Through car journey, you’ll enjoy the beautiful road trip of beautiful offbeat Odisha. 

The whole journey will take verall 5 – 6 hours (approx). There are some hotels and homestays at Bangriposi. You can book any of them and spend your quality weekend enjoying the nature. 

Best Time to Go

Tourists prefer October to March to explore the beauty of Bangriposi. You can go there in monsoon if you want to enjoy the greenery. 

Many people go in summar as well. You can feel intense heat in summar. So the best time is from autumn to spring.
